Rick Silverman, MS PT, Owner and Director
Rick has been the owner and operator of The Ipswich Center for over 30 years. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He then continued his post graduate work at Northeastern University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Rick has been practicing since 1977. Rick’s background is primarily orthopedic-related and includes sports medicine. His approach to physical therapy includes a strong educational component coupled with hands-on manual therapy. The goal of education is to help patients with self management.
Rick is very active in sports including marathon and ultra marathon running, rock and ice climbing, skiing, road and mountain biking, and kayaking.
Paul Dancewicz, BS PT
Paul graduated from Northeastern University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Paul has been with The Ipswich Center since 1990. Paul’s interest areas include shoulder dysfunction and post-operative rehabilitation as well as joint replacement, fracture, spinal, sports, and geriatric rehabilitation.
Paul enjoys time with his family and leads an active life of skiing, golfing, playing ice hockey, sailing, and hiking. Paul likes working on home and auto repairs.
Stephanie Murray, PT, DPT
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Simmons College. Stephanie’s clinical experience has been primarily in outpatient orthopedics. Her treatment philosophy is focused on evidence based practice, combining hands on manual therapy techniques with therapeutic exercise and neuromuscular re-education activities to optimize the patient’s recovery and help achieve individual goals.
Stephanie enjoys getting outside and being active including playing softball and golfing with friends. Stephanie has been the assistant varsity women’s basketball coach at Pentucket High School, her alma mater, since 2013.
Christine Curley, PTA
Christine graduated from North Shore Community College, McCann Technical School of Nursing, and North Adams State College. Christine has been with The Ipswich Center since 2006. Prior to that, she was with Shaughnessy Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem, MA.
Christine has a strong ability to relate to her patients in a professional and encouraging manner to address their physical and emotional needs. Her objective is to instill confidence and reassurance for them to achieve their goals.
Christine loves outdoor sports like hiking and backpacking, cycling, and skiing. She enjoys traveling and reading.
Our support staff
Eve is our insurance billing specialist. She has a Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Education and Therapeutic Recreation from Lyndon State College. She has been with The Ipswich Center since 1978.
Ann welcomes you to the Ipswich Center. She’s been with The Ipswich Center since 2002. Among her many duties, Ann manages insurance benefits and referrals. Ann has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Suffolk University.
Sarah has been with The Ipswich Center since March, 2019. Sarah has been working in customer service for the past 35 years. At The Ipswich Center, Sarah specializes in customer service. She looks forward to greeting you.
